3ʙɪ Meets Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This policy covers 3ʙɪ Meets at meet.3bi.io and adds to the main 3ʙɪ Privacy Policy. It applies to hosts with a 3ʙɪ account and to guests who join by link.

What we collect

  • Meeting details: title, time, meeting code, host, and who joined and left.
  • Guest display names you type in the lobby. Guests do not need an account.
  • Chat messages and files shared during a call. Files are stored in the host's 3ʙɪ Drive.
  • Recordings, only when the host starts recording. Everyone sees a recording badge.
  • Captions and transcripts, and an AI summary, when the host uses these features.

Live audio and video

Audio and video are relayed in real time through our video provider (LiveKit) and are not stored unless the host records. Live captions are produced by your own browser's speech recognition, which may send audio to your browser vendor.

How we use it

  • To run the call, admit guests from the waiting room and apply host controls.
  • To save recordings to the host's Drive and email notes from the host's domain.
  • To create transcripts and summaries with AI models. Meeting content is not used to train AI models.

Who controls the data

The host owns their meetings, recordings, transcripts and notes. Hosts are responsible for telling participants when a call is recorded or transcribed and for getting any consent the law requires.

Retention and deletion

Recordings and files stay in the host's Drive until the host deletes them; items in Drive trash are purged after 30 days. Meeting history is kept while the host's account exists. Deleting your account deletes your meetings, recordings and notes.

Your choices

  • Turn your camera or microphone off at any time, or leave the call.
  • Guests can ask the host, or us, to remove their name or contributions.
